This is a Stainless Steel U-bolt measuring 1/2" x 3 1/16" x 4 5/16", Used to hold on various brackets on boat and utility trailers. This size U-Bolt is most commonly used on Boat Trailers Bunk Support Brackets and to mount trailer crossmembers to the I-Beam Frame. Includes Stainless Steel nuts, Locking washers, and flat washers. The most common tubing that this U-Bolt would mount around would be 3" x 3" tubing. For example, using this U-Bolt with the Galvanized L-Type Vertical Bunk Bracket or Swivel Top Bunk Bracket would allow you to mount your bunk brackets to your trailers cross-member. In addition, this size U-Bolt would mount your Boat Trailer front V-Guide or Boat Trailer Roller Brackets to your trailers cross-members. Using this Stainless Steel U-bolt is ideal for aluminum trailer parts like cross members and Aluminum L-Type Vertical Bunk Bracket. Installation Note:Use of a lithium or graphite based lubricant is recommended during installation to prevent galling. U-bolts must be tightened using hand tools ONLY and threaded on correctly. Improper threading, use of power tools, over-tightening or tightening too fast will result in galling or sticking of the U-bolt.
